Candidates selected for this position will serve as a ADMINSITRATIVE ASSISTANT for MCCS.** Duties **SUMMARY OF DUTIES:**The position is located at the Child Development Center. Performs a variety of clerical, administrative, and support duties required to ensure the smooth operation of the Child Development Center. Receives and provides information and direction to patrons. Responds to patron inquiries and questions. Answers phone, types correspondence and provides general clerical support. Assists customers with tuition payments and registration paperwork. Explains registration and tuition requirements. Processes cash and check tuition payments. Prepares daily finance reports and deposits. Maintains enrollment database; ensures data integrity. Maintains patron files. Develops and generates reports on a regular and ad-hoc basis. Serves as backup to Resource and Referral Specialist in the registration and enrollment of children to Child and Youth programs. Provides World Class Customer Service with an emphasis on courtesy. Assists customers and communicates positively in a friendly manner. Takes action to solve problems quickly. Alerts the higher-level supervisor, or proper point of contact for help when problems arise. Adheres to safety regulations and standards. Promptly reports any observed workplace hazards, and any injury, occupational illness, and/or property damage resulting from workplace mishaps to the immediate supervisor. Adheres to established standards of actively supporting the principles of the EEO program and prevention of sexual harassment. Performs other related duties as assigned. ## Job Requirements Key Requirements * See Duties and Qualifications Qualifications **MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:** One year experience which demonstrates the ability to perform responsible support work. Must possess general clerical skills, ability to type 40wpm and strong computer skills to include proficiency in Microsoft Office applications. Knowledge of cash handling procedures preferred. Must have good communication skills and demonstrate superior customer service skills. High school graduate required.
