GDIT’s Health and Civilian Solution Division is looking for a Recruiting Director for Professional Business Services Support. This individual will be charged with developing and overseeing the strategic direction of recruiting and onboarding activities that support Professional Business Services hiring objectives. The Recruiting Director will oversee the full life cycle of the recruitment and selection process, designing and maintaining a process that provides the best possible experience to both the candidate and the hiring manager. The director will be expected to partner closely with business leadership to create and execute staffing strategies that meet business goals and objectives. This includes exploring the market place for recruiting best practices and designing and implementing marketing plans focused on attracting top talent. The Director will oversee the effective use of job posting sites, social media, and onsite events such as career fairs and invitational’s. Importantly, the Director of Recruiting will use metrics to assess the effectiveness of all recruiting efforts including individual recruiter performance, website and social media performance, and effectiveness of recruiting strategy.

Education Bachelor's Degree in a related business discipline or the equivalent combination of education, professional training, or work experience.

Masters degree is a plus.

Qualifications To be considered for this role, candidates must have 12+ years of progressive recruiting related experience, preferably in a government contracting environment, with at least three years in a strategic management capacity. Candidates must possess an advanced knowledge of general recruiting practices and procedures as well as knowledge of relevant laws and regulations that pertain to the recruiting function. The best candidates will have demonstrated success building and managing a recruiting function focused on the candidate and hiring manager experience as well as business results. Candidates must demonstrate their knowledge of recruiting resources and an ability to effectively evaluate performance. Strong written and oral communication skills are essential.
