The Association of Metropolitan Water Agencies (AMWA), an advocacy organization supporting the CEOs and senior managers of large, publicly owned drinking water utilities, seeks applicants to fill the position of Manager of Regulatory and Scientific Affairs.  Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, the position is primarily responsible for managing a portfolio of regulatory and scientific issues relevant to drinking water utilities. The position is responsible for representing AMWA at meetings with federal agencies and sector associations, writing newsletter articles on various regulatory and scientific topics, coordinating relevant committee meetings, composing summaries and reports of committee calls and initiatives, and helping to produce two annual conferences. The manager will also analyze and report on initiatives from federal agencies and other organizations, and respond to requests for comments and feedback.
