The Ford Agency, in its partnership with a Bethesda based non-profit, is recruiting for a Family Services Manager. This is a unique opportunity to join an organization established by a passionate philanthropist whose mission is providing multi-faceted support to families with ongoing medical treatment commitments in a residential environment. Responsibilities include:

  • Continuously promote a welcoming and friendly environment
  • Interact with families to ensure positive experiences and active program participation
  • Develop partnerships and donor relationships
  • Support community outreach initiatives
  • Jointly oversee volunteers and organize the logistics of their participation
  • Monitor and coordinate improvements to grounds and facilities
  • Coordinate security, housekeeping and repair staff

Qualifications:

  • BA/BS in Human Services Field
  • 1+ years Case Management/Human Services experience
  • Ability to navigate the varied communication styles and issues faced in a multi-family residence
  • Experience working with diverse cultures a plus
