Senior Director, Marketing Communications
Job DescriptionOVH US is looking for a Senior Director, Marketing Communications who will be responsible for planning, development, implementation and success monitoring of marketing, communications, strategies & programs created to grow brand and product awareness. This position will work closely with executive leadership, and functional areas to ensure that all marketing and communications programs are aligned to support strategic company goals. This position manages external communications -- about the OVH brand, solutions, and products -- and will oversee agencies and marketing staff. This new role is responsible for extending and expanding the OVH brand in the US and creating programs that map to B2B target market opportunities.Key ResponsibilitiesLead brand marketing, product and solutions marketing, and events programs using levers such as: paid and non-paid media, internal, and external means (PR, social, etc.)Own the brand drive in the US - including strategy and assets. Develop country-specific brand messaging to align with departmental needs and ensure consistency in brand is met across all areas. Collaborate with OVH Group as needed on brand areas.Work closely with business intelligence team to deeply understand target and bring insights into messaging, segmentation and targeting tactics across media platforms.Partner with the heads of Marketing Operations, Product Management and UX to ensure brand and product messages are clearly communicated across the developed spectrum of those teams. ie these teams execute the programs emanating from the marketing communications team.Lead team in collaboration with business units to develop best-in-class brand and go-to-market programs that increase awareness and drive growth for the company.Onboard, lead and manage digital agencies as needed across areas of responsibilities. Manage agency relationships to deliver best-in-class marketing communications plans for the brand and meet deliverables. Lead statement of work and contract development with agencies.Establish metrics to measure performance for the brand and campaigns. Report to executive leadership on metrics for brand and programs.Manage brand department budget and resources.Work with legal on approval for programs.Be a knowledge leader on marketing trends, opportunities and best practices. Recommend new channels and innovative programs as appropriate.Incorporate best practices and drive for success in programs, review and refine to improve as needed.Required Skills and Background10+ years of progressive experience in marketing, product marketing and communications, in a B2B environment. Experience in hyper-growth businesses, SaaS, IaaS, Cloud technology is a plus.Proven experience driving growth using tactics from PR, social, digital media and communications to launch products and develop brand.Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.Management expertise with agencies and with building high performance teams. Ability to set clear, measurable objectives, delegate responsibility and correcting performance as needed.Strategic and creative mindset with demonstrated ability to identify opportunities and develop creative solutions.A proven track record of leading teams in developing successful marketing and communications programs.Capacity to influence, persuade, and convey ideas in a meaningful way to secure commitment and support from others while generating excitement and enthusiasm for the campaign.Excellent verbal and written communications skills.BA / BS degree required.
