Requisition Number 17-0165 Post Date 4/6/2017 Title Account Services Consultant City Sparks State MD Position Type Full-Time Description Follows a defined escalation process to actively initiate contact with customers in assigned portfolio to resolve collections issues and decrease aging receivables. Identifies weaknesses in payment patterns and works with appropriate business partners internally and externally to remedy the situation. * Develops collection strategies, recommends, and implements process improvements.* Processes write-offs, journal entries and check requests. * Performs client account reconciliations for assigned portfolio.* Provides billing summaries, consolidations, special billings or exceptions for customers.* Audits pre-bill late charges and past-due statements.* Inputs billing information into client portal (for some clients).* Creates statement of accounts and payment histories.* Manages Bankruptcy Portfolio if needed/as required. * Other duties as assigned, including backing-up team members, providing training within the organization regarding AR and special projects. Requirements HS Diploma or equivalent required. BA/BS degree in business, finance or related field preferred. Equivalent work experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.3+ years of experience in accounts receivable or related field, with B2B experience strongly preferred. Knowledge of basic accounting principles and practicesProficiency in MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook). Data Query helpful. \
