More information about this job: Overview: Assists and facilitates the vendor oversight process. Collaborates with appropriate subject matter experts in all areas to support due diligence, governance and risk assessment of vendors. This includes, but may not be limited to: contract compliance; service level agreement tracking; and development, implementation, and tracking of corrective actions and/or improvement plans. Primary Responsibilities: Reviews preliminary risk assessments and provides guidance to Relationship Managers on the next steps of vendor governance process. Provides review of the overall outsourcing/procurement processes and 3 rd party contracts Serves as liaison between business units, legal, information security, compliance and other key stakeholders in the vendor relationship process. Ensures that all Vendor Management documents are current and maintained in the appropriate records repository. Supports Vendor Management team on compliance monitoring and reporting as well as quality control on vendor management program. Supports the Vendor Management Team by obtaining additional knowledge in Vendor Management, Financial Services with emphasis on Financial Services Risk measures such as SSAE 16, ISO Certifications, SIG assessments and other industry standards. Remains informed of regulatory guidance and industry trends in terms of vendor management & risk management. Position Requirements: Bachelor's degree in related field required, advance degree a plus Minimum of 3 years Business Analyst experience with exposure to Vendor Risk concepts, within financial services preferred IT experience a plus Excellent verbal and written communication skills and have a proven track record of building effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders Some knowledge of relevant vendor management regulatory guidelines and experience within a regulated environment Relationship management experience and a demonstrated ability to influence without authority Some knowledge of vendor management “Best Practices” Excellent organizational skills and ability to coordinate project timelines to ensure timely completion with minimal supervision Capable of balancing multiple projects while maintaining a high level of responsiveness, client focus, and attention to details Effective problem solver Detail oriented Proficient PC skills and Microsoft Office Vendor Management Software experience preferred but not required Standard office environment unless otherwise stated.
