The Defense Intelligence Agency’s (DIA) Enterprise Platform Services (EPS) contract provides Users with a secure, standards-based, data hosting, sharing and management platform for mission and business applications. In concert with the Prime contractor Booz Allen Hamilton, GDIT is looking for top-notch, highly skilled Software Engineers for highly advanced and automated Cloud-based application development, deployment, host application integration and source code, and implementation of advanced data consolidation, exploration, analysis, and modeling tools, in support of DIA Intelligence Community database services environment.


Duties include:

    Performing highly complex analysis, design, development, testing, and debugging of computer software in support of business distinct product hardware or technical service lines. Researching and integrating design strategies, product specifications, development schedules, and user expectations into product capabilities. Analyzing and apply advanced methods, theories, and research techniques of complex root-cause-analysis and solution of software application problems.Troubleshooting complex problems and providing customer support for software operating systems and application issues.Managing significant technical project phases. Evaluating vendor capabilities, technical product completion, and monitoring implementation of technical products.Helping define DevOps methodology. Researching emerging technologies to determine impact on application execution.Providing input to staff involved in writing and updating technical documentation such as user manuals, system documentation, and training materialsProviding guidance and work leadership to less-experienced software engineers.Maintaining current knowledge of relevant technology as assigned.Participating in special projects as required.May serve as a technical team or task leader.
Technologies include: Accumulo, Mongo, Selastic, Monet, Zookeeper, EzBatch, Azkaban, HDFS, Kibana, Puppet, IC Reach, GovCloud, SmartData, etc.

Education Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related technical discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, technical training, or work/military experience.

Qualifications The contract requires 8 years of related software development experience.

A DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification is required.  A Security + certification is preferred.
