Hughes is seeking an Entry Level Network Engineer for a position to be located in our Germantown, MD office.
Responsibilities:Analyze, design, install, administer, maintain, and troubleshoot network systemsParticipate in capacity planning, support the creation and the maintenance of network disaster recovery plans, and monitor all network performance activitiesDesign and implement appropriate network security measures and proceduresRoutinely involved with the configuration and maintenance of physical and logical network componentsProvide support for network issues

Basic Requirements:
  • BS in Computer Science, Computer Networking or similar degree field
  • 1 year of hands on work experience with networking and security devices
  • Preferred Qualifications:
  • Master's degree
  • Certifications like MCSE, CCNA, CCNP and CCIE
  • Knowledge of data communication concepts and technologies
  • Customer service and communications skills (written and oral)
  • Adaptable and willing to learn new technologies
  • Ability to effectively multi-task
