Track and reconcile statuses of all auditor Provided by Client (PBC) requests, testing samples/follow-up questions/exceptions, Notice of Findings and Recommendations (NFRs) & Corrective Action Plans (CAPs) for clienta€ (TM) s Budget Submitting Offices (BSOs). Create/develop executive level metrics reports on active audit engagements. Lead reconciliation meetings with clienta€ (TM) s Audit Response Division (FMO-3) Regions and Independent Public Accountant (IPA) to reconcile any differences in PBC statuses, due dates, descriptions, and metrics. Upload and route PBCs, samples, follow-ups, and exceptions to appropriate stakeholders within the Audit Response Center (ARC) Tool. Perform analysis of business processes to identify risks and develop risk mitigation plans for client senior leadership. Develop standard metrics reports, ad-hoc reports, and dashboards using Microsoft Excel functions and formulas. Serve as a direct liaison to auditors and key stakeholders to provide audit support through each phase of the clienta€ (TM) s financial statement audit. Review work products to ensure technical accuracy, deliverable quality, and overall value to client. Research new accounting pronouncements and identify opportunities to improve client internal controls, accounting procedures, financial statement and overall operational efficiency. Conduct quality assurance reviews of audit samples to include obligations, expenses, and liquidation across multiple business process areas. Track remediation activities from process owners and stakeholders. Develop/revise presentations, briefings, memorandums, and Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) documents. Coordinate and facilitate client meetings and participate in day-to-day client interactions.What Do You Need to Succeed?Minimum Qualifications Active DoD Secret security clearance. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Technology, or Business Management. 2+ years of relevant Department of Defense (DoD) and/or federal financial management experience. Strong Microsoft Excel skills (eg pivot tables, lookups, data manipulation formulas). Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy; inclusive of data mining and ad hoc reporting. Experience with FIAR, USSGL, OMB A-123, CFO Act, FMFIA, FFMIA, GAGAS (Yellow Book), and OMB Circulars. Professional services experience and/or specific relevant industry job experience.Preferred Qualifications Master's degree in Accounting Finance, Information Technology, Business Management or MBA. CPA, PMP, CGFM, CDFM and/or CISA.
