Requisition Number 17-0011 Post Date 1/27/2017 Title Senior Recruiter/HR Business Partner City Herndon State VA Description The Senior Recruiter/HR Business Partner is responsible for delivering full life-cycle recruiting across the entire enterprise. This will be achieved through the development of recruiting plans, employing traditional sourcing strategies and resources as well as developing new, creative recruiting ideas. The Senior Recruiter/HRBP will play a critical role in ensuring we are hiring the best possible talent for NWFCU.DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESResponsible for coordinating recruiting, interviewing, and selecting the most qualified candidate through a hands-on role in formulating and administering our recruiting strategies, programs and practices. Use validated applicant tests to screen candidates and initiates the proper security clearance forms upon offer of employment. Develop a strong understanding of the credit uniona€ (TM) s organizational structure and an extensive knowledge of personnel policy and procedure and federal and state laws regarding employment practices. Analyze the information provided on a prospective employeea€ (TM) s application form, and determine the eligibility and suitability of the applicant for employment, considering the candidatea€ (TM) s attitude, skills and work beliefs.a€ cents Talent Management - Manage the recruiting life cycle, including: sourcing candidates; scheduling, tracking and reporting on candidates and interview data; develop candidate pool at all levels via multiple means, including: social media, job boards, professional associations, networking, strategic advertising, and job fairs; manage the pre-employment and onboarding process for new hires; create awareness of the credit unions recruiting efforts and organizational benefits by participating in community recruiting events; build and maintain a pipeline of candidates for future hiring needs.a€ cents Candidate Selection & Qualification - Drive recruiting initiatives that identify and successfully attract top talent; qualify candidates; interview candidates for employment; provide information to candidates regarding organization and specific position; notify candidates of their status in a professional and timely manner; schedule and coordinate candidate interviews with hiring managers; obtain and verify reference and work history information prior to employment offers; negotiate and extend offers of employment to selected candidates.a€ cents Relationship Management - Confer with hiring managers to identify staffing needs and job specifications required to fulfill positions; communicate with hiring managers on a continuous basis to ensure all staffing needs are being met; maintain current knowledge of open position requirements; maintain awareness and encourage referral of qualified, active and passive candidates; meet with associates and managers to reinforce the referral program and obtain leads; analyze employee referral program to measure success of program.a€ cents Compliance - Stay abreast of recruiting trends; ensure compliance with federal and state legislation pertaining to recruiting and hiring; maintain application information to comply with record-keeping requirements.a€ cents Leadership - Participate in developing recruiting goals, objectives and procedures for recruiting department; demonstrate a commitment to organizational objectives; partner with peers and management to implement tactics supporting strategic plans; work collaboratively in a team environment with senior leadership, colleagues, and vendors to assess the current practices/policies, define key objectives, manage the scope and identify critical success factors. Mentor recruiting team on best practices and strategic sourcing.
