We are currently searching for a Financial Analyst and Report Writer, who will be responsible for the development and management of reports to be used by both internal and external users. Your key responsibilities will include working closely with accounting and operations personnel to standardize existing reporting and collaboratively identifying value-added reporting enhancements to improve efficiency/robustness of reporting to all users. Using Microsoft Dynamics AX, Management Reporter, SSRS, Power BI, and Microsoft Excel, the Financial Analyst / Report Writer will enable the TWGI organization to significantly enhance reporting capabilities within Microsoft Dynamics AX.Work closely with the Accounting, Operations and IT teams to develop financial/non-financial reporting, dashboards and business analytics for both internal and external useIdentify financial trends and variance drivers by comparing and analyzing actual results with plans/forecastsImprove financial performance by analyzing and interpreting P & L results, working capital data and key operating metricsReconcile transactions as needed by comparing and collecting dataBS or BA in Accounting or Finance required; CPA (or CPA candidate) desirable5-7 or more years of general accounting experience; public accounting experience desirableExperience working with reporting writing solutions and toolsAdvanced expertise in excel requiredAccountingStrong understanding of accounting including ability to read, interpret and analyze financial statements and related reportingAbility to analyze monthly financials for key variances and errorsAble to make recommendations and develop / implement reporting to improve Company's reporting environmentTechnologyComfort with financial reporting toolsStrong Microsoft excel skills; Power BI skills a plusExposure to and familiarity with SSRS report developmentCreative and enthusiastic in embracing reporting technology as an agent for changePlanning, Organization, and CommunicationStrong strategic analysis including analytic capabilities, project planning, problem solving and organizational skillsAbility to think quickly and develop straight-forward solutions to complex reporting challengesResults-oriented and pro-active decision maker who has the ability to analyze systems and diverse dataStrong communication skills with ability to create and explain complex technology solutions to system usersAbility to understand user processes and challenges to build easy to use reporting solutionsAbility to work independently and manage time effectively without close supervisionStrong project management and organizational skillsMaintain complete knowledge and comply with all company policies and procedures .
