Sr Hardware Engineer
The preferred candidate will perform advanced Enterprise and Desktop Engineering functions in a 24/7 commercial hospital environment. This primarily involves developing; testing and deploying innovative solutions to customer requirements utilizing industry standard tools/methodologies such as SCCM as well as a strong understanding of centralized configuration methods and tools including A.D. integration; GPO's; scripting and troubleshooting. The role requires an individual that offers an exceptional level of experience and technical capabilities in a Windows based environment. The candidate will rely on experience and judgment as well as pre-established procedures and instructions to identify; research; develop and deploy solutions. They will document; track and monitor solutions for acceptance into the environment. Responsibilities include:
- Develop; test and deploy solutions utilizing industry standard tools/methodologies such as SCCM and GPOPerform A.D. integration; GPO development; scripting and troubleshooting.Participate in project meetings to collect customer requirements for solutionDevelop/present LOE and PMP tasks for large scale projectsDevelop and document policy and support as it relates to continued operationsCoordinate 3rd party support efforts to resolve advanced issuesCollaborate with development staff to recreate problems in the test environmentVerify with customer that solutions fulfilled need and update the ticketing system with triage/resolution specificsActively contribute to on-going process improvementAct independently to resolve support calls and achieve a high percentage of incident resolution without escalationAdvise and educate end-user/co-workers on procedural guidelines to ensure a complete solution to their technical issueIdentify unique or recurring customer/technical problems and provide input to management to prevent recurrencePerform other duties or special projects as assigned
- Bachelor’s degree or better in the Information Technology field.
