The Institute of International Finance (IIF) is one of the world’s largest global associations of financial institutions with nearly 500 members in more than 75 countries. We provide economic and financial analysis to our members, serve as a forum for exchanging views and developing proposals on global regulatory issues; and represent our members from the private financial community in discussions with the public sector on global economic and financial policy issues.
The Institute is seeking two exceptionally qualified individuals to work on a part-time basis - either between the hours of 8:00am-1:00pm or 1:00pm-6:00pm - to act as the organization’s receptionist and provide program and administrative support. The responsibilities of the Program Assistant will include:
- Reception duties:
Monitor info email box daily, process responses and/or forward to appropriate staff member, answer main switchboard, greet visitors, contact express mail and courier services and prepare items for shipment.
- Program and administrative support:
Provide assistance in the organization of events and conferences, draft correspondence, provide research assistance, assist with scheduling, and provide other program and administrative support to the IIF’s various departments.
- Other duties:
Assist with other administrative duties as necessary and fill-in when Office Manager is absent.
The ideal candidate will have at least one year of relevant experience; a college degree (or enrollment in a university), preferably in a field related to the work of the IIF; excellent command of the English language and outstanding writing skills; strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
