Registered Respiratory Therapist, FT-36hrs
Collaborates with physicians, medical professionals and other staff to ensure the quality of care given. Provides care for the neonate, pediatric, adolescent, adult or geriatric patient (as defined in the unit scope of care). Utilizes
knowledge of the principles of growth and development appropriate to the patient's age to ensure that care provided meets the unique, physical and psychosocial needs of the patient. Involves appropriate parties (i.e.; patient's family or guardian, outside agencies) in the assessment, treatment and continuing care of the patient as needed.
Is able to work independently in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit.
Acts as Clinical Preceptor for new Therapists.
Serves on hospital committees as assigned by Department Management as needed.

This position requires the Therapist to be able to work in both the Adult and Neonatal Critical care settings as well as the Adult Acute Care setting. Separate orientations for both areas will be given to individuals that are hired into this position.
