Summary
The MIL Corporation seeks a Salesforce Developer to join its growing Salesforce Practice, in support of a Federal Government and Non-Profit client at one of our Washington, DC locations

Responsibilities
• Design and develop solutions in Visualforce, Apex, HTML/ CSS, JavaScript, or other technologies
• Interact directly with our customers and the Acumen team, including consultants, architects and sales to ensure customer success
• Participate in the full application life cycle from technical design to development, testing, and deployment
• Build integration and automation jobs with external objects and sandbox environments
• Take a lead role on development initiatives and provides mentorship and direction to less experienced developers

Required Qualifications
• Very good technical experience with the Salesforce platform and a proven track record of driving best practices and processes
• Advanced Force.com Developer or Platform Developer I Salesforce certification
• 3+ years of experience with Force.com design and development (Apex/ VF, HTML/CSS, SOQL)
• 5+ years of overall experience as a developer in an object oriented environment (Salesforce.com, Java, C#, Python, etc.)
• Experience building (or implementing from specifications) customer- or public-facing web- based user interfaces, with a very good understanding of HTML, JavaScript and CSS
• Expertise in relational databases and query languages such as SQL or SOQL
• Professional experience in a test-driven, Agile development life cycle
