We have two (ITSA) opportunities available working to support the county's public safety applications which are critical to the operations of police, fire-rescue, emergency operations, 911 dispatch center, and the sheriff's office. Must have public safety knowledge, management experience, and a technical background. Additionally, must have an in-depth understanding of the business needs and challenges of public safety such as emerging coding technologies, data analysis/warehousing and mobile development, the ability to translate business needs into functional specifications, and can provide technical mentoring and direction to junior programming staff.

Employment Standards MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:Any combination of education, experience, and training equivalent to possession of a bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field; plus five years of experience in systems design, development, programming and maintenance, and/or project or program management experience or equivalent in a complex information systems environment and supervisory experience of internal staff and vendors/contractor staff, and /or experience in matrix management environment in a complex organization.
The appointee to this position will be required to complete a criminal background check to the satisfaction of the employer.

Experienced professional in a government public safety practice area with the ability to lead dynamically and energize multi-discipline work teams to respond to business needs. Must demonstrate the ability to promote the business value of technology to Public Safety stakeholders. Application design and development experience using .net 4.5, C#, MVC, VS2015, 2014, VB.NET, ASP.NET, XML, ORACLE and SQL Server. Project management experience in system analysis, design, and data modeling with public safety systems. Experience with large, complex integration implementations involving multiple organizations (user agencies, multiple vendors, and technical infrastructure team) for enterprise applications. Demonstrated written and verbal skills in producing design deliverables and presenting them to the development team and/or vendors. Interpersonal and communication skills are critical. Ability to work without immediate supervision.

Work is essentially sedentary, performed in normal office environment. All duties performed with or without reasonable accommodations.
