Explains process to patients and interviews for medical history. Instructs and assists patients in assuming positions for proper scan, and administers contrast media (I.V., oral, rectal and P.O.) according to protocols. EDUCATION Associates' degree or one to three years formal training in Radiologic Technology is required. PRIOR EXPERIENCE Approximately one to two years of job related experience. CERTIFICATION/REGISTRATION/LICENSURE Registration from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) is required within one year of date of hire.
