We have an extraordinary talent base and invite you to consider joining ICMA-RC's Human Resources team.This position is primarily responsible working under general guidance of the Staffing Manager on recruitment and staffing for the corporate headquarters and field offices. As assigned, manage and coordinate the recruitment, interview, selection and employment process in a timely and cost-effective manner in order to employ the best internal and external candidates in accordance with federal, state and local laws and in compliance with corporate policies.Essential functions for this role include: * Work with the department/division hiring manager and Compensation and Benefits Manager in Human Resources to prepare and/or update the job description and determine appropriate position classification band/salary range for the open position* Work with the hiring manager to develop an appropriate recruitment plan for the open position* Oversee the posting process * Source for qualified applicants using various recruitment tools and resources (including the Internet) to ensure the identification of qualified candidates in a timely manner* Assist in the identification, planning and participation of job fairs and college recruiting campaigns* In conjunction with the employment advertisement agency, take the lead in developing and coordinating the necessary print advertisements* Screen applicants for minimum job qualifications. Coordinate and oversee the scheduling and logistics necessary for candidate interviews* Participate in the interview process and partner with the hiring manager during the interview process* Conduct (or oversee in the case of an agency placement) the background checks* Comply with all corporate EEO recruitment and employment guidelines as well as all federal, state and local EEO laws* Facilitate onboarding of new hire* Assist with the data collection and analysis of recruitment and employment statistics as assigned* Other duties as assigned Requirements If you have the following credentials, we encourage you to apply:* BA/BS Degree or equivalent work-related experience* 5 years experience of recruiting a high volume of exempt and non-exempt employees at all levels in a corporate environment* Knowledge of the Title VII, ADA, and other federal/state and local EEO employment laws* Significant experience and demonstrated results in recruiting exempt and non-exempt associates at various levels* Ability to work well in a high volume department; Excellent organizational and customer service skills* Excellent communication and negotiation skills* Strong networking capabilities* Proven ability to be a knowledgeable and articulate corporate representative* Financial services and technical recruitment experience preferred* Familiarity with word processing and spreadsheet software strongly preferred* Some familiarity with other areas of Human Resources a plusFor your well-being, we offer a solid compensation and benefits package that features a competitive salary, a straight-forward incentive plan that rewards results, and a 401(k) Plan.
