This newly added position will report to the Head of the Business Development team and work will be primarily out of the Kingfisher Corporate Headquarters in Falls Church, Virginia. This is a full-time position with core hours of 9 AM -3 PM. This position may require travel up to 20%. This position lends itself well to a person with excellent verbal and written communications skills, strong and effective presentation skills and the ability to not only take direction well, but to work independently. This position requires exceptional technical writing skills, attention to detail in analyzing government requirements and translating requirements into written text responding to requirements, and general knowledge of DoD, Information Technology and Cyber Security and ability to write technical responses to IT/Cyber requirements. A writing sample will be required during the final selection process. Minimum RequirementsMinimum 3 Year in Federal Proposal Management, support of proposal responses, government procurement and government contract vehicles.Must have an applicable understanding of FAR and Government budget process.Ability to convert large amounts of technical information into concise descriptions tailored to client business/operational needs.Ability to work in self-managed and team environments.Writing proposals, responding to RFP's, and leading or taking part in all aspects of the proposal development process.Thorough understanding of federal government business cycles, acquisition lifecycle, bid, and RFP processes and proven experience in proposal production.Experience with multitasking and working effectively, independently and in teams, ensuring timely completion of assignments and meeting established quality standards.Experience with senior level government managers and teammates during periods of high stress and tight deadlines.Experience in planning proposals and proposal support activities, prepare the master proposal schedule and manage the proposal preparation process. Analyze the government solicitation, identify all requirements and criteria for evaluation, and prepare the detailed proposal outline. Develop and manage the proposal team: assign key proposal leaders, including a Technical Solution Leader for proposals requiring a highly technical approach; allocate proposal personnel and resources to proposal leaders;and issue effective proposal instructions to proposal team staff. Strong strategic document development and creation. Experience in facilitating proposal color team reviews, preparing review material and consolidating review comments.
