 Manages the functionality and efficiency of a group of computers running on one or more operating systems.


 Maintains the integrity and security of servers and systems. Sets up administrator and service accounts.

  Maintains system documentation

 Provide wireless smart phone communication administration (GOOD / Blackberry

management software).

Operate and maintain a full suite of Government furnished COTS network management

tools to automate and improve device monitoring, problem identification and resolution,

performance analysis, and configuration management.


Use at a minimum, the following Government furnished COTS tools to manage (i.e. support,

administer, implement, upgrade, and migrate services) network and systems operations.

(NOTE: this tool set may be changed by the government):

McAfee ePO (ePolicy Orchestrator, including HIPS, A / V, Anti‐spam and other components)

SCCM ‐ all components

Hewlett Packard WebInspect

Trustwave dBProtect

Microsoft System Center Operations Manager (SCOM)

Microsoft AD

Microsoft Windows Servers

Microsoft Windows Desktop OSs

Microsoft EX

Provide network and systems administration including, but not limited to:
• Maintain and optimize standard configurations on all infrastructure components.
• Perform system administration activities IAW standard industry guidelines.
• Perform database administration activities IAW standard industry guidelines.
• Monitor status of fault and problem resolution activities to ensure continuity and to
escalate problems as required.

Education Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or a related technical discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, technical certifications or training, or work experience.


Microsoft Certified Solution Expert Cerfification preferred in the following areas: Server Infrastructure or Cloud Platform and Infrastructure; and Messaging.


Microsoft Certified Solution Associate Certification (Microsoft Windows 2012 or higher)


Qualifications 5 years of directly related experience in systems administration and analysis.
