The Executive Office for Immigration Review (EOIR) seeks highly-qualified individuals to join our team of expert professionals in becoming a part of our challenging and rewarding Agency. The primary mission of the Executive Office for Immigration Review (EOIR) is to adjudicate immigration cases by fairly, expeditiously, and uniformly interpreting and administering the Nation's immigration laws. Under delegated authority from the Attorney General, EOIR conducts immigration court proceedings, appellate reviews, and administrative hearings. EOIR consists of three adjudicatory components: The Office of the Chief Immigration Judge, which is responsible for managing the Immigration Courts where Immigration Judges adjudicate individual cases; the Board of Immigration Appeals, which primarily conducts appellate reviews of these Immigration Judge decisions; and the Office of the Chief Administrative Hearing Officer, which adjudicates immigration-related employment cases.
This position is located in the Office of Information Technology. The incumbent is responsible for providing expert advice and expertise to OIT concerning data modeling, database design, development, architecture and standards and leading the day to day operations and maintenance of the Agency's database environment

In order to qualify for the IT Specialist (DATAMGT) position, you must meet the following minimum qualifications:
You must have information technology related experience demonstrating each of the four required competencies: Attention to Detail, Customer Service, Oral Communication, and Problem Solving as detailed in the announcement. In addition to the above, your experience must include one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-13 grade level in the Federal service that includes performing the following duties:
1) Acting as a technical authority by providing guidance, technical oversight and instruction to IT Specialists;
2) Providing advice and expertise concerning data modeling, database design, development, architecture and standards;
3) Leading operations and maintenance of an organization?s database; and
4) Analyzing business requirements and ensuring contractor designs comply with organizational standards.
This experience must be demonstrated on your resume/supporting documents.
