Assistant Director, Division of Maintenance, Montgomery County Public Schools
o Bachelor’s degree in engineering, the sciences, business, or other related field.
o Excellent knowledge and experience in facility maintenance management, and related general management.
o Work history must reflect progressively more responsible assignments, including positions above the level of first line supervision.
o Must possess a valid motor vehicle driver’s license. o Assist the director in performing strategic and operational business planning
o Assist in managing division-wide facility maintenance operations o Assist in planning, preparing, submitting, and managing execution of annual operating and capital budgets over $60M
o Assist in managing division-wide human resource functions and personnel management actions
o Manage, observe, and evaluate division staff and managers of maintenance depots
o Monitor the status of facilities and maintaining positive, relationship with customers, stakeholders, senior officials, labor unions, etc
o Manage and report on emergency maintenance responses and safety issues
o Perform special assignments and projects.
o Represents the director when required.
