If so, read on!    Job Duties & Responsibilities   The Data operations team of Decision Sciences and Transformation (DSaT) department is seeking a highly motivated Business Analyst to work on the Big Data pipeline projects. As a Big Data Systems Analyst, you will be working in a data operations team responsible to ingest application data onto Big Data platform from various partner systems. In this role you will create requirements, write and execute test plans, troubleshoot issues and work closely with the development team. The strongest candidates will be intellectually curious, have a solutions oriented attitude and desire to learn new tools and techniques. The ideal candidate will coordinate with a variety of IT departments to facilitate the Big Data project and work to implement data pipelines.
The candidate will responsible for developing and maintain a metadata repository and independently lead complex projects. The candidate will elicit and translate high level business requirements into detailed system requirements as well as create and execute test plans.

Candidate Qualifications  
  • A Bachelor's degree in a computer related field or equivalent professional experience is required 
  • 2+ Years of experience documenting business and system requirements, processes, workflows and test plans
  •  2 Years of experience with Relational Database (Microsoft SQ, Oracle or DB2) is preferred
  • Strong critical thinking, decision making, troubleshooting and problem solving skills is a plus
  • Ability to support multiple projects simultaneously and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent verbal/written communication skills, including communicating technical issues to non-technical audiences is required
  • Passion to innovate and provide high quality reporting for users is desired
