DCS Corp is seeking a Computer Systems Security Specialist that analyzes and defines security requirements for Multilevel Security (MLS) issues found on DoD Mission Planning Systems (MPS). Designs, develops, engineers and implements solutions to MLS requirements.

Gathers and organizes technical information about an organization's mission goals and needs, existing security products and ongoing programs in the MLS arena.

Performs risk analyses which also includes risk assessment.

The specialist manages tasks related to the planning and preparation for security documentation related to the system authorization process.

Candidate will need to be able to determine the security posture for MPS software. Provides System Test and Evaluation (ST&E) of government MPS systems. Provide risk management and mitigation assessments.
Requirements Due to the sensitivity of customer related requirements, U.S. Citizenship is required.

Bachelor's degree in Information Technology and Sciences, Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or other related scientific or technical discipline.

Twelve (12) years of experience and two (2) of which must be specialized experience including system security analysis and reporting

Responsibilities of a Computer Systems Security Specialist include:

• Prepare and submit RMF Packages for multiple MPSs in accordance with DODI 8510.01 (RMF) to include all required supporting certification documentation as required for a Mission Assurance Category (MAC) II Classified system.
• Conduct MPS testing based on the appropriate analysis and review techniques in support of Mission Planning Test and Evaluation
• Plan, execute and report on MPS vulnerabilities, research to determine root causes and provide mitigation recommendations.
• Provide a security review of system documentation, audit logs, rule set and configuration to validate policy compliance.
• Verify vulnerability remediation through ST&E.
• Develop and update the information systems security documentation for multiple MPS
• Coordinate with Government CyberSecurity Mission Planning Engineers to ensure timely compliance
• Execute and analyze results from the DISA Security Content Automation Protocol (SCAP) Compliance Checker Tool (SCC)
• Work with the clients to develop capabilities briefings and presentations in support of the program


Experience with DoD Cybersecurity Certification and Accreditation Process (DIACAP).

Familiarity with Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) Security Technical Implementation Guidelines (STIGs).

Experience in executing and analyzing results from the DISA Automated STIG Evaluation Tool (ASET).

Familiar with DoD Risk Management Framework (RMF) formerly DIACAP.

Familiarity with the DISA Security Content Automation Protocol (SCAP) Compliance Checker Tool (SCC).

Working Knowledge of the DoDI 8500.01 Cybersecurity.

Certified in Security+.

Ability to obtain a Security Clearance.

Effective written, verbal, interpersonal and time management skills.

Desired Skills:

Experience in IA testing within a Portable Flight Planning Software (PFPS) and/or Joint Mission.

Planning System (JMPS) Mission Planning System a plus.

Experience with using Microsoft Team Foundation Server, and Microsoft Office products.
