This Position is a Defense Civilian Intelligence Personnel System (DCIPS) position in the Excepted Service under 10 U.S.C. 1601.

Employees Serviced by DLA: Civilian Federal employees who receive human resources servicing through the Defense Logistics Agency DO NOT need to submit supporting documentation if applying through merit promotion. It is your responsibility to ensure the required documents are in your e-OPF for verification purposes.     Applicant must have directly applicable experience that demonstrates the possession of the knowledge, skills, abilities and competencies necessary for immediate success in the position.  Qualifying experience may have been acquired in any public or private sector job, but will clearly demonstrate past experience in the application of the particular competencies/knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to successfully perform the duties of the position.  such experience is typically in or directly related to the work of the position to be filled.  Experience must be reflected in your resume.

    Qualifying experience required for this position is: Current on the technical skill necessary to conduct all source intelligence analysis from the tactical to strategic level.

    Specifically you will be evaluated on the following competencies:
    1. Expert knowledge of enemy threat tactics, techniques and procedures associated with Improvised Explosive Devices (IED), along with foreign government capabilities to counter the IED threat in the areas of responsibility.
    2. Knowledge of foreign intelligence and security services information operations programs, terrorist groups, and the threat posed by these groups, organizations, and individuals to U.S. personnel and facilities.

    3. Ability to communicate orally and in writing.
