Provides application development and technical support for customer websites and web based applications. Provides technical consultation in new systems development, new package evaluations and enhancements of existing systems. Prepares functional specifications from which programs will be written, then designs, codes, tests, debugs and documents programs. Participates in the technical design, development, testing, implementation and maintenance of website enhancements. Plans, schedules and conducts systems tests, monitors test results, and takes appropriate corrective action. May prepare technical user guides. Maintains current knowledge of relevant technology as assigned. Participates in special projects as required. Maintains hardware and software critical to the functionality of the organization's website / applications. Monitors usage and performance, creates and maintains backups, and troubleshoots and resolves issues as they arise. Knows standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field to include creating and modifying access policies. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish all tasks associated with the Internet/Intranet environments to include IIS. Perform server operating system and application software implementations and upgrades. Create and maintain complex directory structures and file security. Maintain and administer the production and development web environments. This includes assisting programmers in configuring and placing applications into the web environment. Troubleshoot web applications and IIS problems to provide solutions in a time critical manner. Gather and track OS and web services Performance Monitor and other logs to optimize systems throughput and reliability.

Education Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or a related technical discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, professional training or work experience.

Qualifications 2-5 years of related experience in web software development.
