This position is located in the Government National Mortgage Association (Ginnie Mae), Office of Chief Financial Officer, Budget Division . Ginnie Mae is a wholly owned government corporation created to help expand homeownership opportunities for low and moderate-income Americans, by linking global capital markets to the nation’s housing markets. The Budget division is responsible for the preparation and administration of the Government National Mortgage Association program budget and operating and administrative budget.

You must meet the following requirements by the closing date of this announcement.
For the GS-15, you must have one year of specialized experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the GS-14 grade level in the Federal service. Specialized experience for this position includes:
- Leading a team in the development of policies, systems, and procedures for budgeting and managing funds;
- Interpreting and applying executive orders and policies to ensure compliance with laws and regulations ( i.e. Appropriation Law); and
- Providing direction and solutions to management on budget and operating estimates.
The experience may have been gained in either the public, private sector or volunteer service. One year of experience refers to full-time work; part-time work is considered on a prorated basis.
