Summary

PenFed is hiring a Mortgage Services Reporting Analyst in Tysons, VA . The primary purpose of this job is to assist in the design and development of departmental reports and systems, and ensure proper production and maintenance. This position will assist in the administration of the Secondary Marketing process and of the Fiserv /Progress database system.

 

 

Essential Functions

    Update and maintain departmental ad hoc and scheduled reports for the mortgage origination system, the PFCU Data Warehouse and Departmental databases while ensuring that they are distributed in a timely manner. Provide input and technical support for the design and development of database systems, including input screen’s, documentation, graphs and charts which are used to manage accounts and produce reports involving information from various PenFed departments and vendors. Work with senior personnel to design and create reports to monitor and measure key business processes on a regular basis. Learn to identify key trends, emerging opportunities and risks in the business process by working with Senior Analysts and mentors. Develop and administer quality control reporting in order to monitor departmental activity and maintain accuracy for all Mortgage documents and data. Assist in monitoring the Home Disclosure Act (HMDA) using 3rd Party software to ensure accuracy of data input. Prepare yearly reports for management once the federal government issues their final disclosure and aggregate data. Contribute to the administration of the Secondary Marketing program, including creating and maintaining bid and pipeline management reports, coordinating with PFCU and outside personnel, and balancing sales reports. Assist with the processing and accurate input of information into Unifi and the FNMA Delivery system, and transmit data for specific sales. Balance month-end computer files from outside vendors for First Mortgages and coordinate with Mortgage Servicing, Financial Accounting, Financial Analysis, Marketing, Credit Department and Internal Audit to ensure that all accounts involving PFCU and the vendors are properly handled and credited.
Education and Experience

Equivalent combination of education and experience is considered.

    Bachelor’s Degree in business or a related field is required. Minimum of six (6) months’ of experience in reporting, analytics, accounting, mortgages or project management is preferred. Experience with SAS, Crystal, Motivity/Movation, business intelligence tools and SQL is preferred.
Supervisory Responsibility

    This position will not supervise employees.

    There are no additional certifications required.
 

Work Environment

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to an indoor office setting with moderate noise.

Travel

Limited travel to various worksites is required.
