Develop and manage data programming to complete analysis of profitable prospect segments by capturing behavioral/demographic attributes, credit risk criteria, and other internal and external data elements.
Manage the MIS reporting for all payment products, including Credit Card, Debit Card, ATM, ACH, Wires, and Payment Fraud. Work with key stakeholders to build and maintain the KPI reports by products, as well as lead the automation and scheduling of the daily/weekly/monthly reports.
Conduct rigorous payment products reviews aimed at driving profitable portfolio growth. Make strategic decisions that will produce favorable member experiences and improve efficiencies.
Monitor payment products and prepare management reporting to analyze application/spend/loss trend. Identify root causes across all phases of the cardholder lifecycle (acquisition, usage and retention) by reviewing channels, products, and risk segments to analyze actual vs. forecast variance
Manage campaign performance evaluations across all existing and prospect cardholder touch-points, including direct mail, digital, mobile, call center, statements and branch channels.
Capture develop analytics data to identify portfolio segments that are underperforming, and execute opportunities to optimize marketable universe, offers, and/or campaign performance.
Develop sophisticated financial analysis and profitability models to assess performance across segments, vintages, and products. Develop account/product level P&L to effectively manage the credit card portfolio’s growth and profitability.
Interpret and articulate analytic findings and formulate recommendations to share with key decision makers.
Collaborate with business teams within PenFed to ensure consistent and accurate reporting while minimizing redundancy.
Bachelor’s Degree in Economics, Finance, Statistics, Engineering or a related field is required. Master’s Degree in a quantitative or a related field is highly preferred.
Minimum of five (5) years of experience in credit card or a related industry is required.
Minimum of four (4) years of experience in credit card acquisition and existing portfolio data analytics including but not limited to marketing analytics, statistical analysis, modeling and optimization, business and product development within a financial services environment is required.
Minimum of two (2) years of people management experience in related analytics field is required.
Expert skills in SAS, SQL, Tableau, Monarch, Excel, PowerPoint, and proficiency working with large dataset are required.
Statistical analysis experience, including A/B testing, linear regression, and time series forecasting are required.
Knowledge and experience of segmentation, statistical procedures, predictive modeling, financial modeling, and analytic tools are required.
Expertise in data Warehouse and business intelligence associated tools are required.
Proven project management skills (project management experience of minimum 2 years; e.g. lead cross functional team and projects, initiate high ROI projects, etc.).
This position will supervise employees.
