Integrated Shipboard Network Systems (ISNS) On-Site Support Technician - MARMC
The candidate shall provide technical support and engineering services for Mid-Atlantic Regional Maintenance Center (MARMC), Code 281 IAW section C.3 of the basic contract and this task order. The candidate shall provide technical support and assistance to assess, inspect and correct system faults. Candidate shall identify and correct anomalies associated with installation, operation, maintenance and connectivity problems. Candidate shall provide onboard maintenance training to ship’s force technicians in the operation, repair, maintenance and logistics support of the listed systems. Candidate shall perform functional checks and program review support of C2I systems Approximately 10% of this work is performed in an office setting. The shipboard investigation phase of a task involves considerable walking, climbing and crawling in and around the equipment/system for several hours at a time on hard steel decks. Work is normally required aboard U.S. Naval ships at berth or at buoys within the harbor. Helicopter, aircraft (COD) flights, high line and small boat transfers may be occasionally required. - Hands-on and US Navy pertinent schooling and training to meet the minimum qualifications. Where applicable, candidate needs to include all NECs for schooling.
