One of the primary goals of the AboutWeb Cares program is to alleviate poverty by providing jobs and training to economically challenged communities while also helping entry-level workers/students obtain the skills and experience needed. The area of focus will be within the Information Technology field to allow them to gain valuable job experience so they are better prepared for the challenges of the new job market.

We are looking for a Hands-On Recruiting Resource Manager within our AboutWeb Cares Sourcing division that will focus on mentoring and leading our staff doing internet research, performing web searches and working with our core AboutWeb team to recruit additional individuals for the program as well as assist in filling internal technical openings within AboutWeb. Our ideal candidate is someone that has recruiting and HR experience ideally with a familiarity with Information Technology positions. This employee will be responsible managing the team's production, within established metrics, as well as helping develop their skills. This position needs someone with excellent leadership, detail oriented and works well with a team. We will provide additional training for the role but we need an employee that can manage a team and help develop recruiters and researchers.

This leader will oversee a team of employees at our Baltimore City office location as well as supporting our partners and clients. This employee will have a key ability to work with employees to help develop their skills and prepare them for new roles within AboutWeb and for their careers.


  • 3+ Years of Management experience in a customer facing capacity is preferred
  • Excellent communications and leadership skills
  • A Bachelor's Degree or equivalent education and experience


  • HR or Recruiting experience
  • Knowledge of web based applicant tracking systems
  • Knowledge of Web research and internet technologies
