Requires a wide range of knowledge concerning all aspects of project management. Position performs standard and advanced analysis of IT strategies, plans, technologies, capabilities, and investments. Provides a wide range of direct support to a team of systems administrators to include, but not limited to; reviewing enterprise planning and strategy documents for relevance, de-confliction, and applicability. Coordinates across military services, non-DoD federal departments and agencies, and DoD organizations to identify, analyze, and recommend initiatives and solutions for capability gaps or to capitalize on efficiencies. Maintains references, records documents, and conducts detailed research to provide information from a variety of sources to provide support. Aids in responding and/or leads short-fused and occasionally Flag Officer level requests for information and/or justification for initiatives and assessments and/or service outages.Responsible for completion of assigned tasks with little or no guidanceAbility to manage multiple priority tasks simultaneously under tight timelines in stressful situationsCommunicates with functional area subject matter experts to meet customer requirements and to solve problemsWork directly with other local and enterprise contractor and government project managersResponsible for coordinating with internal and external agencies and organizationsCoordinates VTCs, conferences, internal, and external staff coordinationManages internal and external tasks assigned and provides status updates to the customer and managerAbility to work well with others from a diverse set of backgroundsMust be able to dilute complex problem sets into basic strategic language easy to understandExcellent verbal and written skills are paramount along with a strong use of the Microsoft Office suite of tools Education 1. Bachelors Degree in a related business or technical discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, technical training, or work/military experience. 2. Professional certification (PMP) preferred. Qualifications 8-10 years of related experience, including supervisory experience.
