Biomedical Equipment Technician I
Responsible for the installation, calibration, inspection, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of medical equipment throughout the Washington Hospital Center (WHC) and contracted accounts. Reviews device specific repair history for identification of potentially unresolved equipment problems. Answers questions regarding medical equipment and its usage and documents activities. EDUCATION Associate's degree or higher level degree or equivalent training, such as in biomedical equipment technology or electrical/electronic engineering or military electronics, is required. EXPERIENCE From six to twelve months experience required, such as an internship and/or previous hospital experience.
