GDIT’s Health and Civilian Solutions Division welcomes you to apply to our Summer Internship Program. The Internship Program features: a paid internship, relevant and challenging work, personal and professional development opportunities, customer site visits socials and a Kick-Off and a Send-Off. We hope you will consider joining our team and learning more about the work we do!

Our interns write real software and partner with a select group of experienced software development engineers, who both help and challenge them as they work on projects that matter to our customers. You’ll be given the opportunity to have direct impact on the evolution of GDIT’s Cloud technologies and contribute to mission critical projects early in your career. Your design, code and raw smarts will contribute to solving some of the most complex technical challenges in the areas of distributed systems, data mining, optimization, scalability, and security-- just to name a few.

The GDIT Cloud Team is a unique place where you can design and build innovative technologies in a very large distributed computing environment and help lead fundamental changes in the industry. We build distributed storage, index and query systems that are scalable, fault-tolerant, low cost, and easy to manage and use. These are exciting times in our space – we are growing fast, but still at an early stage and working on ambitious new initiatives where an engineer at any level can have significant technical and business impact. We’re looking for developers with a passion for solving difficult problems in Infrastructure as Code in the AWS environment. All of the technologies we use overlap with the real world of modern cloud computing and development —you’d be hard pressed to find a team that isn’t using Amazon Web Services (AWS), touching the catalogue, or iterating services to better personalize for the customer.
