At AIS Health, we present actionable information for business leaders across the health care industry. As a Health Business Reporter, you will analyze the latest health care news and identify the impact for insurers, providers and pharmaceutical players. To excel in this role, you will: (1) Pitch original story ideas on topics including mergers and acquisitions, financial results, benefit designs, care management, provider networks and regulatory actions. (2) Translate complex financial reports, policy proposals, legal complaints and medical innovations into actionable information for health care business leaders. (3) Identify, cultivate and interview sources across the health care industry. (4) Produce 3-4 stories/3,000 words of in-depth copy per week. Relevant Skills and Experiences: (1) Track record of success in business reporting, health care focus preferred, including interviewing, editing, fact-checking, basic production skills. (2) Experience in a fast-paced environment with frequent deadlines. (3) Knowledge of AP style. Submit resume and two health-related clips for consideration.
