General Dynamics Information Technology (GDIT) is looking for a candidate to provide Windows System Administration support for a Research, Development, Test, and Evaluation (RDT&E) network supporting a US Government Customer. The selected candidate will be responsible for system administration of Windows 2008 & 2012 physical and virtual servers as well as Windows 10 clients.  


Specific job duties include:

  • Maintenance of server and desktop infrastructure
  • Addressing cybersecurity concerns inclusive of DISA STIG and IAVMs
  • Troubleshooting Microsoft applications
  • Maintenance of Microsoft Active Directory

Education Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or a related technical discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, technical certifications or training, or work experience.

Qualifications 5-8 years of directly related experience in systems administration and analysis.


Clearance Level

  • Secret
Certifications (IAT Level II)

To Start, candidate must possess ONE of the following:

  • Security+ CE
  • GIAC Security Essentials Certification (GSEC)
  • Security Certified Network Professional (SCNP)
  • System Security Certified Practitioner (SSCP)
and ONE of the following:

  • MCITP (Enterprise Administrator)- Microsoft Certified IT Professional (MCITP): Enterprise Administrator on Windows Server 2008
  • MCITP (Server Administrator) - Microsoft Certified IT Professional (MCITP): Server Administrator on Windows Server 2008
  • MCSA - Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator
  • MCSE - Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer
Required Skills

  • 3+ Years of Experience working with Active Directory and Microsoft Opertating Systems/Servers
Desired Skills

  • Knowledge of ITIL processes and ITIL Certification
  • Experience with the IAVM process
  • Familiarity with Cisco network device administration
