Job Summary:

Westat is seeking a junior software application developer who will be responsible for the development, maintenance, and testing of various systems using multiple technologies. 

Job Responsibilities:

·     Develop, test, and maintain .net applications ·     Support end-user training of applications ·     Work collaboratively with the development team to identify and resolve software issues ·     Document activities related to all phases of the software development life cycle ·     Participate in unit and full integration testing

Job Requirements:

·     A bachelor's degree is required, preferably in a computer science or related field.
Possessing at least 1 year of software application development experience is a plus.
Knowledge of .NET software languages (C#,, HTML5, CSS, XML and XSLT, and jQuery is desirable. Candidates should have experience with .NET and RDBMS technologies such as MS SQL Server. To be successful in this role, you must possess an analytic mind, have excellent verbal communication skills, be detail oriented, and show the ability to work both independently and in a team environment.
