This position is an integral member of the entire GDIT HQ HR department. This position will rotationally support Talent Acquisition, Benefits, and Compensation as well as Training & Development, HR Compliance and Internal HR. The HR Intern provides administrative support for the Human Resources Department; including: recruiting, making copies, facilitating new-hire orientation, assisting with/facilitating training, onboarding, tracking HR information and general office dutiesEssential Functions
- Assists with the recruiting process including: posting open positions, using applicant tracking system. Arranging/participating in career fairs, conducting background and reference checks; arrange interview schedules, new-hire orientation, monitor and respond to virtual mailbox inquires via email in a timely fashion May assist with the organization and facilitation of training, associate functions, etc.
- Must be currently enrolled full time in accredited college or university working toward a degree, preferably with a concentration in Human Resources, communications, business management, or related discipline
- Minimum 3.0 GPA in major
Must have a positive attitude and be flexible in accepting new tasks
