We are seeking an experienced, hands-on human resources professional to join us as Senior Manager of Human Resources. This resource will embrace the challenge of helping us transition to operating as a mid-size professional services firm. In our fast-paced environment, this new role will be the point-of contact for all HR matters and will have the opportunity to proactively bring HR best practices to Oakleaf's growing business. He/she will add significant value by planning and implementing human resources programs and policies that contribute to the achievement of our strategic objectives including employee retention, relations and safety; and helping to foster an inclusive, exciting, and engaging workplace environment for all our employees. We offer challenging and interesting work in a friendly and supportive environment.Lead Oakleaf's Human Resources functions including employee relations, compliance, compensation, benefits, safety, diversity, performance management and staffing levels. Support Oakleaf's strategic goals in the design, planning and implementation of HR programs and policies to increase employee productivity and engagement.Administer the benefits program; partner with Oakleaf management to develop short/long range benefits strategies.Work with hiring managers and Talent Acquisition to analyze and recommend appropriate compensation packages, ensuring both internal equity and external market parity.Compose and deliver offer letters; coordinate with Contracts & Legal on contractor agreements; manage all employee immigration matters.Conduct new employee onboarding and facilitate the exit/separation process.Prepare and manage the human resources budget and regularly report on HR costs and activities.Mitigate risk by staying abreast of and overseeing Oakleaf's compliance with labor laws and regulations.Maintain accurate and complete employee records.Manage the vendor relationship for the HRIS platform; use HRIS data to inform the HR environment.Promote productive relationships between staff and management by guiding managers and employees through the successful resolution of workplace issues.Liaise and collaborate with other operational areas as needed including Talent Acquisition, IT, Finance and Accounting.7-10+ years in increasingly responsible roles in human resource management, preferably within a professional services environment.Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, or another relevant field; professional HR certification preferred.Experience designing and implementing performance management and compensation plans; track record of success designing and implementing benefits plans.Knowledge of current labor/employment law and related experience with HR compliance and developing policies and procedures.Excellent computer skills and experience with applicable software programs, including HRIS, is required.High degree of ethical standards and ability to maintain confidentiality as appropriate when dealing with employee matters.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; equally comfortable and confident in interactions with employees and senior management; effective collaborator; attentive to details, organized, disciplined; strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
