In this role the hired individual will work on a legacy transformation project to automate SAS applications relating to the calculation of earnings at risk. Do you possess the talent and dedication to be part of our growing team?Work with a small team of developers, testers and business analysts.Re-engineer a legacy application framework that drives earnings-at-risk calculations.Move existing applications from the legacy system to a new Python framework, where they can be automated.Applications are primarily in SAS.3+ years building frameworks and automating complex workflows using Python.Object-oriented Python development experience within a LINUX / SAS Grid environmentKnowledge of XML based technologies (XML messaging, XMLSchema, XML parsing)UNIX/LINUX scripting experience (at least intermediate knowledge)Oracle experience with advanced SQL skills, including PL/SQL.
