Position Description:XLA is currently seeking a Financial Systems Specialist to join our team in the Washington DC metro area. The successful candidate will serve as a key member for a Federal Agency Consulting engagement. The candidate will provide financial system support services, specifically supporting in the role of a Momentum Systems Analyst. Additional skills and responsibilities are defined below:Provides support for systems supporting Acquisition, Relocation, Transit Subsidy, Purchase Card Systems; includes agency internal, government wide systems, and other non-governmental systems, as appropriate. Support includes:Developing and Deploying System TrainingDeveloping and Maintaining System and Process documentationDeveloping and Maintaining User documentationHotline User SupportDeveloping and Maintaining System Metrics & ReportsExecuting System/Data AuditsTesting version releases and upgradesExecuting system data pulls and data analysis/mining tasksSupports the business operations of a federal client using CGIa€™s Momentum ERP system;Works cooperatively with system users and stakeholders to implement new software functions or business processesAutomates manual processes with applications including, but not limited to: SQL, SharePoint, InfoPath, Captivate, Microsoft Office suite, Adobe Pro, UFMS (Momentum)Researches and learn new technology tools and applications to improve processes in FA and/or DEA.Full life-cycle support for the Financial Management Divisiona€™s (CFO) intranet and team sites (DEA-wide access = intranet, internal division/office access = team sites). SharePoint platform.Sample of Systems/Applications include:JPMorgan (Pcard)FPDS-NGUFMS (Momentum)Contract Portfolio (FIRST Application)FedBizOpsSAMCPARSSharePoint (FC Intranet/FA Team Site)InfoPathOther Responsibilities:Reviews and improves customer statements of work and other pre-award documentationReviews and participate in training development and deliveryDevelops briefings and position papers, review drafts, and finalize documentationRequirements:Four (4) year of relevant experienceBe knowledgeable of all aspects of the procurement function.Has experience in program management relating to enterprise-wide management of systems.Needs experience with assisting in developing policy at the request of and under the guidance of federal personnel.Experience reviewing acquisition requirements documents.Has relevant subject matter expertise.Has experience in the field of program analysis and in information management systems support.Excellent communication skills, both written and oral, the ability to handle multiple assignments at the same time, and excellent organizational skills.Comfortable with TechnologyAbility to communicate orally and in writingAbility to plan and execute work independentlyExperience with processing invoices (billing)Team player, well-organized, self-motivated, with a desire and ability to learn quicklyGood analytical skillsAbility to work collaboratively with other offices in:Resolving issues and developing resolution recommendationsDeveloping system requirements and FA application toolsProficient in at least one of the following:UFMS application (Momentum software or similar contract/financial management system)Federal contractingUser helpdesk experienceRelated work experience as a GS-1102 Contract Specialist or GS-345 Program Analyst is desired.Education Requirements:Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 24 semester hours of business or equivalentClearance Requirements:Must have at least an active DOD Secret ClearanceEEO Statement:Equal Opportunity / Affirmative Action EmployerXLA, Inc. is an award-winning government services provider with more than 500 employees both domestically and internationally.
