We have an extraordinary talent base and invite you to consider joining ICMA-RC's Investments team.The Senior Fund Manager, Equities will take a lead role in the management of certain sub-advised proprietary equity funds, entailing oversight of both the Fund and its external asset managers. In addition to oversight responsibilities, the Senior Fund Manager assists the Vice President, Equities, in developing and implementing fund/portfolio strategies. The Senior Fund Manager is also integral in planning, managing projects and liaising with other groups and divisions of the Corporation and with external parties.Note: Occasional travel may be requiredEssential functions for this role include:a€ cents Management of sub-advised proprietary equity funds o Perform both qualitative and quantitative analysis on funds/ sub-advised portfolios. o Perform due diligence on existing funds through meetings with senior executives of asset management firms. o Manage the due diligence process of funds, asset managersa€ (TM) adherence to investment guidelines and asset manager relationships. o Support other Fund Managers through a team approach to provide continuity of daily management of other equity funds. o Stay updated on the financial markets, the economy, equity securities in general and specific emphasis on major equity holdings of sub-advised funds. o As needed, manage cash flows and/or the rebalancing of certain funds and portfolios. o Provide significant input on the hiring and termination process for asset managers. o Develop relationships with and perform due diligence on back-up and prospective asset managers. o Manage projects associated with Vantagepoint Funds. o Review, write, and as needed, present routine and ad hoc information of certain funds, portfolios and asset managers for different reporting needs.
