The Platform Relationship Manager role will focus on developing relationships with key decision makers on the research/due diligence teams and ultimately drive assets and sales through research coverage and firms retirement platform opportunitiesSignificant travel required.Essential functions for this role include:a€ cents Work in coordination with Consultant relations and DCIO sales to understand overall focus firma€ (TM) s business strategya€ cents Develop and maintain relationships with focus firm research clients (Directors of Research, CIOa€ (TM) s and strategy analysts)a€ cents Develop investment placement business plan for each focus firm focused on retaining current placement and identifying new opportunities with Key stakeholdersa€ cents Initiate and negotiate all selling agreementsa€ cents Understand and maintain a working knowledge of firm platforms and manager evaluation processa€ cents Understand and effectively communicate all ICMA-RC investment management and distribution capabilities to clients including appropriately managing the investment professional involvement in client meetingsa€ cents Knowledgeable in the capital markets/economic views, portfolio construction, portfolio level activity, and competitive landscapea€ cents Maintain consultant contact management and history via SalesforceRequirements If you have the following credentials, we encourage you to apply:a€ cents BA/BS Degree or equivalent work-related experiencea€ cents 7-10 years of direct experience calling on retirement platform gate keepers as well as platform fund analysts; industry knowledge as well as experience of retirement platform distribution; be a strategic thinker with the demonstrated ability to establish strategic account reviews for IO retirement platform client, and have an extensive background and experience selling Mutual Funds, CITa€ (TM) s and separate accounts to retirement plans as well as investment consultantsa€ cents Experience in using research tools including Zephyr style advisor and Morningstar directa€ cents Excellent communication, interpersonal, and strong presentation skills a musta€ cents High degree of professionalism, organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple responsibilitiesa€ cents Demonstrated success in taking initiative and delivering immediate and independent action for problem solvinga€ cents Commitment to team-oriented environment and a willingness to openly share ideasa€ cents Certifications preferred: MBA, CIMA, CPWM, CAIA or CFAa€ cents Licenses required/preferred: FINRA Series 7 & 63 or 66For your well-being, we offer a solid compensation and benefits package that features a competitive salary, a straight-forward incentive plan that rewards results, and a 401(k) Plan.
