The Triage Nurse - Call Center is responsible for: a€ cents Triaging and reviewing new, follow-up, post-op patient records, ancillary testing, and clinic appointments prior to the scheduled appointment. a€ cents Providing evidence-based care based on the nursing process, policies, procedures, and protocols of the Johns Hopkins Hospital. a€ cents Providing direction to/management of other team members to promote quality, safety, and excellence in care. a€ cents Works collaboratively with a multidisciplinary health care team to optimize team performance and patient outcomes in the ambulatory setting. a€ cents Participating in promoting and identifying quality improvement initiatives (clinical, financial, operational) that are aligned with departmental and hospital safety and operational goals. a€ cents Promoting cost-effective use of resources. a€ cents Scheduling patient appointments and speaking with patients regarding their care.0830 - 1700Day Shift Work Associate degree, or diploma in nursing from an accredited School of Nursing. Baccalaureate degree in Nursing preferred.Eighteen months of experience as a registered nurse.Current registered nurse license in the state of Maryland, or licensed in a compact state.
