Responsible for providing professional nursing care according to specified physician orders and in conformance with established nursing techniques, procedures, standards and Medical Center administrative nursing policies. Job Duties: Demonstrated the knowledge/skills required to care for the patient population on assigned unit. Must assume accountability for the process and outcome of care for the patients. Recent acute Psychiatric experience and Med/Surg experience is preferred for this role on a busy inpatient Psychiatric unit. This is a Weekend Alternative position. Work every weekend with an attractive differential. Shift is primarily day shift with the ability to rotate to night shift in the rare event there is a need.
