Conduent Human Resource Services, a leading global HR consulting firm seeks a top-notch, energetic and self-motivated ERISA/employee benefits attorney. The successful candidate will have a minimum of 8+ years of experience in employee benefits law with a reputable law firm, benefit administrator, consulting firm or government agency. This person will review and analyze legislative, regulatory and judicial developments and create intellectual capital (mainly through written publications) describing such developments. This person will also provide compliance services and support to Conduent clients, new business and engage in compliance-focused product development. Ideal candidate has broad ERISA and tax code knowledge relating to health/wealth, retirement, compensation and other employee benefits. Knowledge of or interest in state insurance laws, employment law and other HR issues a plus. Candidate will be a member of Conduent s prestigious Knowledge Resource Center. The Knowledge Resources Center is responsible for Conduent s national multi-practice legal consulting, publications, government relations, research-surveys, training and knowledge management. Through various media-including publications, presentations, tools, consulting projects and its website-the Knowledge Resources Center helps Conduent clients and consultants understand important legislative, regulatory, and judicial developments in the HR field. Requirement Law Degree / Juris Doctorate or paralegal certificate preferred 8+ years in a corporate Law Department, law practice, government agency or administration/consulting firm with significant focus on employee benefits Extremely strong written and verbal communication skills (must enjoy writing and communicating complex topics to nontechnical audiences) Solid knowledge of IRC, ERISA and other relevant laws and regulations affecting health, retirement and other employee benefit plans Excellent interpersonal skills essential for effective interaction and coordination of internal business groups as well as outside counsel If you are ambitious and dynamic, can work independently and as part of a team, share our collegial spirit, and are looking for an opportunity to make a difference, please apply.
