SummaryIndividual will generate qualifiedcandidates using a variety of sources. Must be able to multi-task and work in afast paced environment. Recruit and place candidates in permanent and contractpositions in Operations (drivers and contractors). Retention of existingdrivers, assist to maintain the company's existing safety program, and ensuredrivers and equipment are in compliance with DOT regulations.ResponsibilitiesDevelopannual recruiting strategies to include forecasting demand as well aspartnering with Human Resources and OperationLeadershipDevelopand lead the day-to-day driver recruiting processes and act as a resource onall points of the recruiting cycleDevelopand lead all sourcing metrics to sustainable hiring productivity. This includesmentoring process & adjusting resources andstrategies throughout the yearas neededAnalyzeemployment-related data and prepare required reportsWorkwith other members of the Operations, Human Resource and Safety to identify andaddress recruiting key items such as marketresearch, wage surveys,unemployment and other factors affecting our ability to attract and retaintalentDevelopand lead all sourcing metrics to sustainable hiring productivity. This includesmentoring process & adjusting resources andstrategies throughout the yearas neededCreativesourcing and development of a pool of qualifies applicants through the use oftraditional and non-traditional techniques includingsocial media channels,cold-calling, direct sourcing and networkingContactjob applicants to inform them of the status of their applicationsConductphone screens and interviewsConductreference and background checks on job applicantsHireemployees and process hiring-related paperworkConductexit interviews and ensure that necessary employment termination paperwork iscompletedAttendsrecruiting trips involving trade shows, truck stops and nationwide seminars.Travel as neededKeepabreast of current industry news as well as professional development as neededto perform this job to the best of his or her ability.Experiencedwith proven success building internal and external relationships and attractingthe best and most qualified talent possible.Representthe Company with integrity and ProfessionalismPromotecompany through visits to clients, service providers and industry meetingsRepresentthe company for business development and resolution of service issuesQualificationsMust be customer serviceoriented, have excellent communication skills and the ability to work in adynamic, fast paced environment.MUST HAVE EXPERIENCE RECRUITING LONG DISTANCE DRIVERSMinimumrequirement in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint - IntermediateLevel or higher preferred).
