The successful candidate will support various marketing teams in optimizing campaigns through precision-guided data analytics methods. The incumbent will also help spearhead the development of robust analytics and reporting capabilities across marketing and support the development of actionable dashboards based on the unique needs of internal stakeholders. The incumbent will have a unique opportunity to collaboratively work with a variety of teams across marketing. This necessitates the ability of the individual to foster productive relationships in order to bring a data focused approach to accomplishing team and department level goals and objectives. Essential Functions:a€ cents Provides analytic support to the marketing department to help optimize performance of brand building and direct response campaigns across digital, TV, radio, referral, PR, and content marketing initiatives.a€ cents Analyzes performance of additional advertising, marketing, and communications campaigns with a special emphasis on quality lead generation, forecasting, and ROI.a€ cents Performs ad-hoc deep-dive analyses to deliver insights and recommendations to various marketing teams that lead to incremental increases in marketing effectiveness and help drive efficiencies for marketing.a€ cents Develops an analytics and reporting framework that uses data from multiple internal and external sources to gauge progress against goals, produce strategic insights, and drive marketing results at the team and department level.a€ cents Develops and manages dashboards that integrate Web, marketing, lead, customer, and financial data.a€ cents Works with internal stakeholders to understand business objectives, define data strategy needs, and determine measurement and testing strategies and reporting protocols.a€ cents Identifies opportunities to develop and enhance analytics capabilities across the marketing department.a€ cents Monitors and documents strategic shifts and changes in environmental conditions to help calibrate results based on the current landscape.a€ cents Performs other duties as assigned. Work Environment and Physical Demands:a€ cents Standard office environment in Manassas, VA.a€ cents Position is eligible to telecommute two days per week, subject to manager approval. Requirements Required Skills: a€ cents Experience with both the AdWords and Bing Ads marketing platforms.a€ cents Inquisitive thinker with a passion for understanding the levers that drive success.a€ cents Demonstrated analytic thought leadership, and capable of developing unique and compelling insights through creative out-of-the-box methods.a€ cents Ability to understand modeling techniques such as profile segmentation, clustering, regression, and decision tree.a€ cents Skilled in transforming large amounts of data into actionable business insights.a€ cents Ability to maintain positive, collaborative partnerships with key internal stakeholders.a€ cents Has strong personal drive and motivation, is entrepreneurial, and knows effective time management.a€ cents Ability to communicate complex data to key stakeholders.Required Experience:a€ cents Five to seven years of relevant work experience.a€ cents Bachelora€ (TM) s degree in a quantitative field such as math, science, or economics preferred.a€ cents Excellent analytical skills and demonstrated proficiency with data analytics and data visualization tools (eg Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, Tableau, Domo, Excel, etc.).a€ cents Strong SQL skills preferred.a€ cents Experience with R or other similar analytics tools preferred. .
