ItemMaster works with global Consumer Packaged Goods companies and national grocery/drug/mass retailers to power a€œthe digital shelf," ensuring that these brands are represented consistently and with integrity across every digital channel available.You are a hands-on, driven, passionate leader with a background in production/service/retail management running fast-paced operations where quality, cost-control, and staff development are the key measures of success. Youa€ (TM) re people and process focused and thrive in an environment of continuous improvement and are very comfortable with technology.POSITION DESCRIPTION:Manage all daily operations of the ItemMaster Brand Activation Center, including interviewing, hiring and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance, rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems; and terminating employeesDeliver BAC services to meet standards of quality and cost while regularly going a€˜above and beyonda€ (TM) to beat customer expectationsMaintain clean, organized, safe, and efficient work environmentPlan daily operational work assignments, empower self-directed work teams, lead continuous improvement activities, and measure results.Participate in customer planning and communication activities, provide facility tours, perform ambassador role when representing company to outsidersInteract daily with sales and customer service departments to coordinate upcoming workloads and special projectsUtilize technology for effective leverage of managerial and production goals.QUALIFICATIONS:5-10 years of supervisory experience in progressive environment where quality, efficiency, safety, and staff development are all valuedAbility to attract and retain talent to meet staffing needs for both full-time and part-time workforce in a split shift environmentHighly professional and able to conduct meetings in a Fortune 500 environment.Background and/or serious passion to learn Lean Management, Six Sigma, Business ProcessManagement, or any continuous improvement methodologyBachelora€ (TM) s degree (BA) from four-year college or university or significant professional work experience.PHYSICAL DEMANDS:Must be able to move about in an office and warehouse environment; including sitting, standing, and walking for extended periods of time each day. Ability to lift and carry 50 pounds. The employee is frequently required to use and reach with hands and arms to finger, handle, or feel, and talk/hear.
